John Robins (1651)

The extraordinary and charismatic blasphemer John Robins claimed to be God. The writings presented here include two accounts of the trial of this notorious Ranter, together with The Hebrews Deliverance at Hand, the only extant work by his
follower Joshuah Garment. The introduction by Andrew Hopton sheds new light on the strange activities of "the False Prophet" and the group that gathered round him.
